Alfie Doughty has joined Cardiff City FC on loan from Championship rivals Stoke City until the end of the season.
The Bluebirds are in a Championship relegation battle and hope that the 22-year-old Londoner can help steer the welsh club away from the relegation zone.
Doughty has had significant experience in a relegation fight previously with Charlton Athletic, where he played 30 times for the Addicks who eventually got relegated on the last day of the season.
The left-sided youngster will be a welcome addition to the struggling City squad as they face a huge task to turn their season around and avoid relegation to League 1.
The former Charlton young player of the year has already featured 16 times for Stoke this season and will be looking to impress during his time at the Cardiff City Stadium.
